The Municipal Library offers to Soissons inhabitants more than 120,000 books as well as cassettes, DVDs and other CD.ROMs.
Every year, the Library welcomes 10,000 readers and lends 170,000 documents. About 6,000 lendings are for schools, day nurseries, social and holiday centres, hospitals.
The Library also takes part in important cultural events. Notably,
literary evenings are organised there.
